À l'occasion d'un petit voyage en Roumanie, j'ai pu admirer de belles villes médiévales: Sibiu (qui abrite le portrait de l'homme au turban bleu de Van Eyck au musée Brukenthal), Sighisoara, et je suis passé aussi au fameux "château de Dracula" (Bran Castle), où Vlad dit "l'empaleur" n'a jamais résidé. Je conseille au plus haut point le palais Peles, une "folie" 19ème du roi Charles 1er de Roumanie; centre intellectuel de l'époque, décoré de boiseries sculptées du sol au plafond, on y trouvait des radiateurs (!!) et des aspirateurs.
Et ci-dessous, un petit dessin réalisé sur ma tablette PC Fujitsu Stylistic (entièrement avec Sketchbook pro 6) sur le thème de ce road trip roumain ;)

I recently made a trip in Romania, in east europe, and it was a great opportunity to discover old medieval cities: Sibiu (a portrait of Van Eyck is in the Brukenthal museum collection), Sighisoara, and I went in the famous "Dracula's castle" (Bran Castle), where Vlad (said "The impaler") has never been (don't be so upset !). I highly recommend to visit the Peles Palace, one of the greatest place ever seen, built by the king Charles I of Romania; the castle welcomed famous intellectual people in the 19th century, and is fully decorated with pieces of wood sculptures, from the ground to the upper limit. The king equipped his castle with vacuum cleaners (!) and gas radiators.

Quelques dessins réalisés au musée Brukenthal. J'y ai découvert Hans Schwab Von Wertinger (1465-1533), qui a un style très proche de Dürer.

Some sketches made in the Brukenthal museum . I discovered Hans Schwab Von Wertinger (1465-1533), a painter whose way of painting is very close of Dürer 's style.
